A Torah scroll is the most revered article in Judaism, consisting of dozens of sheets of parchment and 304,805 letters meticulously transcribed over a year of intensive labor. It is comprised of the words of G-D, as transmitted and written by Moshe, and passed from generation to generation for over three thousand years.

It is the Torah that is the source of our inspiration through all the ups and downs of life and the secret of our survival throughout our long and illustrious history.

It is both a tremendous honor and a great mitzvah to participate in the writing of a Torah scroll. There is a positive commandment in the Torah for every Jew to write a Torah scroll for himself or commission a scribe to write one for him.

We invite you to join in this mitzvah and partake in this rare and precious opportunity by sponsoring a letter or a portion of the Torah scroll. You may choose to dedicate in honor of a special occasion or in memory of a loved one.

All proceeds will benefit Center for Jewish Life.

All dedications can be made before February 19, 2023.
